Cordaid

The catholic development organisations Memisa, Mensen in Nood, and Vastenaktie were all merged into Cordaid at the end of 1999. Cordaid therefore represents all aspects of development cooperation, from emergency aid and health care to structural poverty alleviation. Cordaid works closely with local organisations, as the people ‘on the ground' are best able to shape their society. The well-known public names of Memisa, Mensen in Nood and Vastenaktie can count on the support of 450,000 donors.
