Next steps in Gender Learning Program

March 2011, the month of spring  is a wonderful opportunity to announce the next step in the Thematic Learning Program Gender: participant groups will start to formulate their action research goals and methodologies.

The Thematic Learning Program Gender is an action research process and a collective learning experience  in which now 7 participant groups participate. In this process we will research how to get gender equality into effective practice, in each of the specific thematic contexts of the participant groups. We plan to have a final meeting and share results around September 2012.

The participants are Dorcas Aid International, IICD (International Institute for Communication and Development), IKV Pax Christi (Interkerkelijk Vredesberaad Pax Christi) and TIE (Transnationals Information Exchange) , Multicultural Women Peace Network, Foundation VOND and Gender Concerns, with their partner organizations. Possibly 1 or 2 more organizations will step in.

The Thematic Learning Program Gender is a cooperation between the participant groups, PSO Capacity Building, WO=MEN Dutch Gender Platform, Centre for International Development Studies Nijmegen and Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein Wageningen.
