As of June 2008 a number of PSO member organisations have found one another in a joint need to exchange ideas on Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation in international relationships.
This need developed out of initial experiences with monitoring protocols and a need for more reciprocity in international relationships. As well as discussing a number of operational topics (types of partners, aggregating data, attribution, etc.), there is also room to discuss theories of change, personal competency and attitudes of employees.
This network began in May 2008 and exchanged ideas on organisational analysis in June 2008. The meeting in September concentrated on the Monitoring Matrix used by AIM. The meetings in Ocotber and November will be designed with help from ETC and MCNV.
Due to the confidential nature of some information, this network is a closed on for the time being. The lessons learnt could be adjoined to those of the Kwaliteitshuis at a later date in order to provide input for the operationalisation of the new Development sector policy.
