In 2011 the Centre for International Development Issues Nijmegen (CIDIN) will start, in cooperation with PSO, a new Advanced Master in International Development (AMID). This study is a learning-working trajectory for young academics. The master is a one year programme that runs from January through to December.
The 25 to 30 trainees will be employed during the programme by one of the participating development organisations in the Netherlands for four days a week. The trainees have lectures every Friday at the Radboud university Nijmegen. The young academics will be employed as junior staff and take up regular tasks in programme or policy departments under the supervision of a senior staff member.
